A Handbook For Item Upgrade From Start To Finish
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrading gear increases its stats base and often enhances its extras. The value of these upgrade is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements and how many random augmentations are made available.
The racial Shield elite Razortail, for example, is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP, and/or to add additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the un-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens let you roll a purchased item such as an armor, weapon or ring. The item is replaced with another of the same kind, but with different benefits. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method of upgrading gear. However, they don't retain the same level as the original item, and any wasted resources aren't refunded.
The survivors can get reroll tokens in several ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates or buy them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute on a piece of equipment that could include increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.
Players can reroll their equipment into three categories three categories: physical power, magic power, and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase damage from weapons and melee attack and spell power boost mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional level of health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available: upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each of these upgrades the item to a better quality. To create them, you need an upgrade level reroll token. Enhanced upgrades require a common item, rare upgrades require a unique or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
The marker for rerolling, unlike markers or tokens placed on action spaces, remains on the space till the next success is to be rerolled. This helps to prevent the waste of upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes that show up at the beginning of each Preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by pressing on them. When they are opened, they will display an image and description of the Ingredient or Appliance. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of coins.
This means that you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool when you run. This changes the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop has available to reroll and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.

Leveling
Leveling is an optional feature that lets players boost the base stats of weapons armor, helms and trinkets. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials, and also pay a cost in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will continue until the item reaches its maximum level.
Items that have upgraded stats will display a blue icon beside their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, cannot be added to more than one item at once. Each upgrade component will require a certain number of items and a minimum level of equipment.
The Upgrade Station features two slots: the left is where players can put in equipment that needs to be upgraded, while the right slot shows a preview of what the gear will look like when it reaches its next level. Once a player has enough materials by pressing the yellow arrow, it will start the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time it is upgraded the base stats of the item will increase by an amount of. The highest level for an item is 19.

However, this will cause the old upgrade to be destroyed.
Requirements
Items upgrades allow players to increase certain stats of armor and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item differ depending on the type of item however, you'll usually require Dilithium as well as a number Upgrade tokens.
The items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to weapons and equipment. This will give them more effects or an improved level of the item. These upgrades can be gotten through a variety of sources in the game, including crafting, purchased at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses or raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is inserted into an item, it isn't able to be removed or replaced freely, however, glyphs placed in gathering tools can be swapped out without limitation.
Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components include additional modifiers that could further increase the stats of an item.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense, and adds an extra 20% chance of blocking. In addition the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.
Upgrades can be beneficial for some items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable for the players if they can get the perfect roll. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for instance, is highly valued by melee PvP communities and could be worth up to 20-50 times the value of an unupp'd counterpart.
If you choose an upgrade component to slot into an item, the game will display an in-game window that lists the necessary requirements. The game will show the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
Once you've met the required requirements for an upgrade the game will put the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will be updated to indicate how close to completing it. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any upgrader NPC for the item you want to upgrade.
